Ghast Craft Five is a rock band performing weeknights at the Knot Of Human Elbows in Hawthorne. Established in 1994, our band members include Kiyo on drums, Alex on bass, Howard on keyboard, and lead vocals by Desmond. Our first album, I Don't Think What You Think I Think, was released in 2001. By the popular demand of our fans, we released a second album in 2005 entitled Wuthering Inferno. Today these albums are extremely rare due to their limited release!

Bios
- Kiyo has been playing drums since age six but has improved greatly since then. We hope. When he's not beating around on the drums he is an active rock climber at Mohonk in upstate New York.
- Alex began practicing guitar in high school, and he is hands-down the number one dude who gets all the chicks, but only because he has brains as well as good looks. Stay in school, kids!
- Howard continues to amaze the crowds with his amazing keyboard skills. He has a B.A. in Music from Zangelding University. In his free time he enjoys building and devouring gingerbread houses.
- Desmond is our talented lead vocalist and amazing web designer. Everyone loves him, and he loves everyone. Catch up with him online for a game of Mornington Crescent.
Motivation/Philosophy
The famous musician Brian Eno once said (as part of his Oblique Strategies) "Define an area as 'safe' and use it as an anchor." Ultimately, this is why we do what we do, and why we don't think what you think we think. Or as Robert Anton Wilson said, "everyone is crazy if you don't understand their motives."
One of the questions people ask is where we got a cool name like Ghast Craft Five. It's a card in a board game called Talisman which takes forever to play. It was during one of these marathon, all-night games that we decided it would be a cool name for a rock band.
